Ramblin Song 02:42
Now I like to ramble from place to place With a breeze on my shoulders And the sun in my face, it’s true, as can be I got me a pair of ramblin’ feet On the road through the valleys and the mountaintops Out past the swimmin’ hole and the ol truckstop The one, thing I need Is for you to come ramble with me And when the sun doesn’t shine in the sky We’ll spend our nights chasin’ fireflies Oh you, walkin’ free Come on baby won’t you ramble with me With a switch in your walk and a spring in your step You roam through my mind more than I had expected Yeah you, walkin’ free I’m talkin’ baby won’t you ramble with me And I’ll do my best to make it worth your while A kiss and a rose after every mile And then, you will see You were made to come ramble with me And when the sun doesn’t shine in the sky We’ll spend our nights chasin’ fireflies Oh you, walkin’ free Talkin baby won’t you ramble with me Yeah you, walkin’ free Come on baby won’t you ramble with me Yeah baby won’t you ramble with me

Read My Mind 02:43
I saw her at the station South of Laurel Grove Leanin’ on a payphone Tokin’ on a clove I could tell yeah That she could tell yeah She could read my mind She boarded right behind me I’m trying to steal a look Now she’s right beside me Facedown in a book And I can tell, yeah That she can tell, yeah She can read my mind I left the life behind to wander for a spell And I feel sober, as far as I can tell Strange to fall in love with strangers on a train And she can play that part so well Now we’re blowin’ into Nashville Quarter after four She left a note without a word And stumbled out the door And I could tell yeah That she could tell yeah She could read my mind Called her from a payphone At seven twenty three She took another quaalude And floated off to sleep And she could tell yeah That I could tell It’s gonna take some time I left the life behind to wander for a spell And I feel sober, as far as I can tell Strange to fall in love with strangers on a train And she just played that part so well And I want To let you know What’s on my mind
3.
Back to Me 03:11
When you came to me I was low Iwas down But that didn’t stop you from coming around And all my life i’ve been too blind to see That you’ll never stop coming back to me A year or so back I swore I was through And i put aside all those old thoughts of you But now I know and it’s plain to see That you’ll never stop coming back to me I tried to fly straight, I tried to settle down Now it’s too late cause you’re back in town And it’s the hardest thing for me to believe But you’ll never stop coming back for me A long time ago, I used to live Without all the guilt and the grief And then you came along and brought more than I need And you’ll never stop coming back to me And i’ve tried Ooohh I’ve tried, I’ve tried to get free And it’s the hardest thing for me to believe You’ll never stop coming back for me
4.
Going Now 02:33
Let the spirit out Say it nice and loud Memorize these pages in and out They got me going now There’s no compromise Not from an open eye Not from one who’s done just getting by They’ll change you overnight Get me out of this town Get me out of this place I’m going now Gonna join the crowd Gonna scream it out Gonna find a way to shut you down You should be going now Get me out of this town Get me out of this place I’m going now I’m going now I’m going now
5.
When you walk into the room I feel every step I start to tremble and I can’t catch my breath But I know I know you’re not here for me But that could change With a little make believe So I try and I try and I try and I try I can make it so You won’t ever know You don’t have to be So remarkable I’m gonna figure you out all by myself You’ll say everything That I write for you And I’d give anything If you only knew How long I’ve been here all by myself I can make it so You won’t ever know You don’t have to be So remarkable I’m gonna figure you out all by myself You’ll say everything That I write for you And I’d give anything If you only knew How long i’ve been here all by myself And try As I might To believe I know that you’re not here for me
6.
Every night you’re talking sweet to me You’re huggin up on me You spend time with me Then you go away and shut the door I’m all alone and you don’t want me anymore Feeling far from where you are I wonder in the dark We’re both on our own This Mississippi river moon shines down on me alone Everytime their showing up to see What they can get from me Before they run from me You’re like all the rest and now I see I’m all alone but that’s when I am free Feeling far from where you are I wonder in the dark We’re both on our own This Mississippi river moon shines down on me alone This Mississippi river moon shines down on me alone This Mississippi river moon shines down on me alone

about

I wanted to make an Americana album. Inspired by a livestream I did in October where I played songs that I had written for films, plays, webseries, video games. A lot of them had an Americana feel. Decided to record an EP.
